Summer 2020 – Citing potential COVID hazards to officers, Colorado Springs Police Department unilaterally stopped offering breath tests to people suspected of DUI. Mike Moran & other DUI lawyers in Colorado Springs challenged this policy change as a violation of state law. Below is the first of many DUI dismissals to date won under this challenge.

We also petitioned the court to suppress blood test results in cases where the breath test option was not provided by CSPD. Below is a ruling in our favor, pending further appeals by CSPD.
